Hi, my name is Neil Goldie, I am a professional fishing guide based in Christchurch New Zealand. Having fished for trout and salmon for 35 years throughout Canterbury and the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand I have an intimate knowledge of the rivers, streams and lakes that are found in this region.

As an independent guide I offer an  excellent standard of guiding that will match your ability and expectations to maximize your opportunities and enjoyment.

I cater for all levels of both salmon and trout angler, from the ardent enthusiast to the novice or even junior angler.

The experiences and knowledge gained from over 35 years of rivers, weather, spotting and stalking trout and catching both trout and salmon coupled with commitment will ensure your best chance of success.

A member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association (NZPFGA) I operate a well maintained 4 wheel drive vehicle, and carry all commercial insurances including public liability. I hold current first aid certificate and carry safety equipment on all trips.
